What if I told you there was a job where you could hand out warm chocolate chip cookies to people and get paid. That sounds too good to be true. I mean, how would that work? How could a company afford to give away tons of free cookies and pay someone to give away those cookies to broke college students? Believe it or not, Insomnia Cookies has a position called a Campus Marketing Representative that does exactly that, and I’m thrilled to announce that I’m one of these reps!
For those of you who don’t know, Insomnia Cookies is a company that delivers warm cookies right to you door. Yeppers, their cookies are warm and gooey every time. When I saw that a Campus Marketing Rep position on my campus was open, I knew I had to apply. I’ve ordered and eaten countless Insomnia Cookies before, so I thought the next best thing I could do was represent them.
Now, what exactly does a Campus Marketing Rep do? I will excite the students on my campus about the different cookies, products, special flavors and deals Insomnia offers on a weekly basis. Plus, I get to hand out free cookies and make someone smile. It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it.
I’m excited to gain real-world marketing experience, while having fun with food. I already know this job is going to be great, because I love me some fresh out of the oven cookies, and I love learning about the public.
If you want to know more about my personal love for Insomnia Cookies, check out a blog post I wrote about them here!
If you’re an Ohio University student with an event coming up and want stacks on stacks of cookies, please contact me, and I’ll try to make it happen. If you’re panicking because you’re a student that doesn’t do events, but still want a cookie, fear not. If you see me on campus with a box of cookies, simply walk up to me, and I’ll hook you up with a free one!
